The number of entrepreneurs investing in Aegean Region is quite big. Three pilots, a medical doctor and an accountancy advisor have started off to make the olive oil of Karaburun, a county of İzmir, the brand name to be known worldwide. Eralp Demirarslan and Murat Hoşcan both captain pilots, along with Aydın Eraydın, Dr. Alper Demirarslan, owner of a private hospital in Istanbul, and an accountancy advisor from Izmir, Yağmur Kınay, have turned the land of 780 sqm leased from the government into an olive grove with an investment of 1 million TL. The entrepreneurs, applying only organic production methods, are going to market their produce to the world under the brand name of ORIO.
